Upon your arrival, you’ll need to complete the check-in process, and if you’re under 18, a parent or guardian’s signature will be required on the waiver form. Then, we’ll direct you to get fitted for your riding helmet.

For safety reasons, all riders are required to wear approved horseback riding helmets. You have the option to bring your own if it meets the required standards, or we’ll provide one for you.

As your ride is about to begin, our guides will introduce you to your assigned horse and help you mount, we use a mounting block to keep it easy on our horses and you!

Once you’re in the saddle, your guide will offer instructions for a safe and enjoyable trail ride. Don’t worry if you’re new to riding; many participants are first-timers. We’ll provide guidance on handling the reins and maintaining a comfortable and balanced position throughout the ride. 

When you book a trail ride with Redbird you will enjoy a leisurely-paced walk under the guidance of our trained instructors. This guarantees both your safety and enjoyment. Our instructors maintain a constant on-ground presence to oversee the ride and to lead the horses.
